Yo! Thanks to Andrew, Jeff, Rahmin and Patrick for coming to class last night. Fun group, good times :)

This morning I setup a 2nd unclass to build on what we did in class #1: http://unclasses.com/classes/260#

I’ve tentatively suggested a date ~1mo from now but let’s be sure to find a time when everyone who was at class #1 can make it. Please feel free to sign up on that unclass and comment there about your scheduling needs. ’

Anyone who couldn’t make class #1 but is still interested: you’re welcome at class #2. We can catch ya up (or we can do a repeat of class #1 before hand).

I’ve got Photoshop CS3 on my lappy and I’m happy to pair up with whomever. See you at 6:30pm!

I do not have Photoshop yet – its coming in next week through a student friend. I am happy to watch over someone’s shoulder or borrow a computer if possible.

I would love to learn about layering and how to undo old changes.

Blending colors would be great.

I am pretty much a beginner at all this but eager to learn.

Do you guys have a copy of Photoshop installed on your laptops ready to go?

Is there anything specific you are hoping to get out of this? If there’s particular techniques or goals you have in mind let me know now so I can try to be prepared.

Unfortunately, I can’t do either night now. Damn it! I’ve been wanting to learn more photoshop for years.

If we do the Photoshop class this Tuesday (the 26th) in the evening, who is in? Since Monday is a holiday let’s nail down today whether this is on or not.

That evening works for me

I could also do Tuesday the 26th.

Thursday is the only night of the week that does not work for me.

Photoshop Unclass: how would ~7P on Thursday the 28th work for everyone?

I am definitely interested. Glad this was moved – I am in LA tonight.

I can not make next wednesday either (Seattle bound) – but will be back in town the following week.

Would love to attend this class when if it ends up really getting delayed!

I think we should push back until we can get 4 or 5 students. How about next Wed starting sometime around 6 or 7… is anyone else interested???

Not a problem, Zach, we appreciate your stepping up to teach this and I’m happy to do it at a time that makes sense to you.

Most evenings except Thursday work for me. Next Tuesday 5/19 is open.

I am still interested and could do this Tuesday. I’d be specifically interested in a tutorial on how to make web ready ‘sliced-and-diced’ graphics for a simple UI. Have hacked it in the past…

Alternatively, next Tuesday works just as well.

Since Jeff is the only one who has expressed interest in attending, I think we should postpone. Sorry Jeff!!! No offense meant :) I’m looking forward to meeting you and I’m looking forward to your CodeIgniter class, but I’d just rather hold this class on a day when a few more people could attend.

Is there interest in having this class on Tuesday? I can host up to ~5 people here in my office (4th and Market). I listed 5:30 but I’m thinking 6 or 7 might be better given my current work schedule.

Everyone should bring their own computer with a copy of Photoshop already installed. I can supply a “loaner” copy of Photoshop (Mac only), though I’d rather not spend time installing that during class so you should contact me separately so we can try and get it installed before you get here. Also if someone has a projector, that’d be rad, but not totally necessary.

If there is interest in doing this, please reply on this thread and also please indicate what you’re hoping to get out of the class so I can plan appropriately.
