Intro to Online Paper Prototyping
It seems like everyone’s got an idea for a website nowadays. But if you don’t have any practical skills (i.e. aren’t a designer or developer), it’s hard to know where to start.
Over the course of a few projects, I’ve developed a lightweight process I call ‘online paper prototyping’ which is useful for non-technical/design folks to express their vision in a compelling and actionable manner.
I will show you how to do it using Balsamiq Mockups and Dreamweaver, but anyone who can write basic HTML should be able to figure it out.
As an example, here are the ones I did for this very site.
Teacher's Notes
I’m a former product manager at Yahoo!, the founder of my own awe.sm startup, and one of the hooligans who created unclasses.com.
I live in West LA and will take suggestions for places to meet.
