Hey Jess – that sounds great. I could use a few pointers on general (like weekly) cleaning, simple wheel truing, brakes, etc.
Do you want to pick a Sunday a few weeks out? Can you take the lead for the class?
A sunny Saturday afternoon at the bike kitchen 19th and Alabama! They have an open outdoor space and access to unlimited bike tools. I know some avid bikers including myself that could start with teaching basics: fixing a flat, tightening your brakes, and tips for long rides.
hey – i was thinking it’d be really cool to partner with pedal revolution and see if they would do a training session in exchange for us organizing a ride/picnic in the park or something along those lines. i’ll get in touch with them and find out if they’d be up for it!
