Drawing for Dummies - Alameda
sorry this missive is a duplicate for some of you – everything got transferred over to the other Drawing for Dummies page – don’t know who’s still interested so…..
Tonight’s class: drapery, ribbons, hats, and other awkward stuff. Don’t panic! Come and fool around.

you could also try catching a bus from 12th street BART or something, but I don’t know that route.
Please email to let me know you’ll be at the Frank Bette Center tonight!

Hi Guys, I haven’t heard from Alana and am assuming the class is off for tonight :/ – Alana, hope all is well.
Hello Art Peeps –
We’re having our second “Drawing for Dummies” class tonight at Space Happy in Alameda. 7 to 9 p.m. (sorry this is a duplicate note for some folks). If you can arrange to come, we’ll be happy to see you! Please confirm to my email address, alana.dill@gmail.com
Heather – It depends on how many people continue to show up. Had 5 wonderful students the first night… I’m happy to continue so long as I have at least 3.
Note: you may need to look for it under “drawing for the daring” because so far, haven’t taught a single dummy!

I am super-bummed but I wound up having to take another commitment Monday nights for the next few months. I’d love to know if you plan to teach this again.
hi guys – the next class is posted here: http://unclasses.org/classes/463
if you’re coming by BART, get off at Fruitvale and take AC Transit line #50 to Alameda’s Park Street. Space Happy is 4 doors down from Starbuck’s.
I just updated class notes – not sure if that pings all students directly, so please check Unclasses website for current information on supplies, curriculum, and our Mystery Location. We will be accessible by public transportation – with a short walk.
Monday evenings sound great. Would the class be accessible by public transportation?
oops- I will be out of town on January 4th. Will come to the 2nd meeting- please let me know where- linda
I am up for this! I may have the materials (or some of them) already. If you could publish a materials list I could see what I have.
count me in fr Monday night 7-9 Alameda- I’ll buy the materials from you- LInda
Hi there – Your facilitator here… It would be ongoing over the course of 6 weeks, starting in January. Looks like Monday evenings are best for the most people. This would be in Alameda – 7 to 9 p.m. If people respond positively to this I’ll book a classroom – we could have as many as 15 students. I can assemble a kit and sell to you, or you can bring your own materials that you have on hand (there may be a few items you’ll need to purchase – for instance, art pencils, India ink, crow-quill pens – will create a shopping list and have it ready for first session). We may need to each pay a small fee for classroom rental, but I’ll keep it as cheap as possible. Invite other friends who may be interested as well.
I still prefer Monday evening but could do Sunday esp if we ended by 2 P.M.
Any of the times you suggest would work for me! I’d love to do this class!
