Unclasses

Give me 4 hours and and I will give you the basics that will allow you to use two pointy sticks and twined fibers to create luxury and comfort. You will learn to do cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. Much like a dealer, I’ll give you your first taste of this very addictive pursuit for free. Please bring US10.5 or US11 knitting needles and a light colored, smooth (i.e. not furry or mohair, but also not shiny or slick) ball of chunky yarn), scissors, and a tapestry or over-sized large eye needle. If you have trouble finding these things, they can all be found at Anacapa Fine Yarns, Ventura, CA (anacapafineyarns.com). We will be meeting outside in a gorgeous park and sun protection and a beach chair are recommended, since my canopy is only 9×9 and sitting on the grass for 4 hours can become tiresome.
