Bike Adventures and Yoga in the Park
I’m Mikhael and I’m a Yoga instructor looking to teach Yoga in a slightly different way — outdoors. I thought I’d see if the unclasses community would be interested in trying this out with me.
Here’s what we’re gonna do:
1) Grab our Yoga Mats
2) Get on our Bikes
3) Ride to a Park (Golden Gate probably) on a sunny day
4) Put our mats down and do some yoga
5) Get back on our bikes
6) Ride to another Park
7) Picnic!
This Yoga will be targeted to beginning and intermediate students, but you pros are welcome as well. If you don’t have a mat, don’t worry, I can help you wrangle one up. Also, my good friend Zach (http://unclasses.com/users/167) is going to be leading us on super-safe bike routes around the city, so we won’t have to deal with traffic or hills. Hooray!
Please sign up if you’re interested. Once we’ve got a few people signed up, we’ll settle on a day and do it!
Teacher's Notes
I am a newly trained yoga teacher (Yoga Works 200- hour training) hoping to get some experience teaching yoga. Zach is a computer smartypants (some say nerd) and an even bigger bike advocate, who moonlights as a bike tour guide around the city.

Just spoke w/ Mikhael. Looks like we’re gonna postpone this unclass until we can get a least a few people to commit — only Doug responded to my last note! It’s probably our fault for not sending a reminder email sometime in the middle of last week. Please look out for a “when can you do this” email in the near future. I’m looking forward to some yoga-bikin’ soon!

Yoga/bikers: Mikhael is having some trouble w/ her unclasses account so she asked me to post this:
Hey folks! We’re on for some Yoga and some biking tomorrow! Let’s meet at the statue at the East end of the panhandle (Baker between Fell and Oak) at 2:30.
I want to get a feel for how many people are got coming, so could you please email Zach (or respond here on unclasses.com) to let us know if you’re a Y or a N? Zach’s email is zberke@gmail.com.
I’ll bring some bread, fruit and cheese for a picnic afterwards. If you want some juice, wine or beer you should bring that. I’ll have a few extra yoga mats. If you’ve got one, bring it, if not, we’ll make do!

Either of those days works for me, and I filled out the Doodle poll to reflect that.

Hey yoga/bikers: I want to try and set date for the first class! Two possible dates are: Saturday June 20th or Sunday July 12th. I’m thinking we meet mid/late morning for a two-three hour bike/yoga session…

Hello yoga/bikers. We’ve set the date for this Saturday morning at 11. We will meet at the corner of Baker and Fell, near the statue. I have a few yoga mats but bring your own if you have one, you can also use a towel since we will be on the grass. If you have any questions you can email me at mikhael.romain@gmail.com
