Accounting for Dummies

Wouldn’t it be great if we could all read a balance sheet like a pro?

Accounting for Dummies ideally will focus on legal accounting methods and leave everyone refreshed on reading balance sheets, income statements, etc.

Hi Everyone!
I sort of signed up to teach this class — lo those many many months ago — by accident, and am not sure I have the knowledge people want. I’m an accountant with an MBA, not a CPA though, and could go over basic balance sheet stuff but haven’t looked at anything in the for-profit world for quite some time. (I work in the non-profit realm.) Could a few of you post some specific questions you have? Then I can tell if I have the knowledge needed or we need to find someone with more… Thanks so much and I apologize for being so quiet for so long!

Hello Katharine,

Any interest in getting this class going soon? We have a bunch of students ready to go.

If you are interested, send me a note (andrew@30words.com) and I can help get it scheduled!
