apologies for the 2nd email, but I wanted to include the link as our UI here could use some help. CLASS DATES POLL: http://doodle.com/3hztzp8n3z7rxxcw

I just posted a link to a new dates poll covering the weekends in September. If you’re still down for the clinic, choose your dates and we’ll go from there.

Well, I guess I’m in the driver’s seat now? I’d be inclined to do this at Castle Rock just because I know the area better (never been to Beaver St). In any case, should we aim for a weekend in September?

Zac

I am handing you the reigns. Despite my best efforts I will not be able to make it to SF. Bummer, as it would have been fun. Fortunately I will be driving North to Squamish to do the Grand Wall….

Best of luck placing some solid nuts in the beaver……crack that is.

I usually top rope there, but a trad clinic would be awesome too! Not sure if the beaver crack is strong enough to hold nuts though. Wait, that didn’t sound so good…

Let me echo Dave – the Beaver St. wall is awesome. We could do the anchor clinic at the top and then repel down – plenty of cracks and goodness for the climbing. Nuts that this is in the middle of the city.

Zac – a trad clinic would be dope. Do you think we could do that at Beaver St? I’d still be open to Castle Rock on a weekend and can drive some folks.

Solid – if people don’t have time to leave the city, I’ve climbed the Beaver St wall in SF a few times, and it’s really fun.

I can teach too, and I’ve got all more than enough gear for an anchor-building clinic. I’d also be willing to teach a trad clinic if anyone would like to learn how to place gear.

Venue-wise, I think the Castle Rock area would be perfect.

Chris, awesome dude. In case the commenting is a tough way to sort out dates, I created this quick poll. Should take ~ 15 seconds for you all to indicate your preference.

I’ll start hunting for a location for the class too.

I am a good friend of Rahmin and a Portlander looking for a short weekend getaway to SF. I can teach this class the weekend of august 22/23 or august 29/30, either sat or sun. This would require an urban area with rock that accepts protection. Perhaps a local crag, a masonry wall, or even a sea cliff of poor quality. I will provide all hardware. Let me know how this sounds because I need to a acquire a ticket asap.
