CodeIgniter for PHP Developers
In June I’m going to give a talk at Open Source Bridge called “CodeIgniter as Drinking Game”. I would be happy — nay, more than happy — to reprise that talk for a San Francisco audience.
If you’ve wanted to learn more about PHP MVC frameworks to get stuff coded faster, this would be a good talk to attend. Also if you like to drink. (You don’t actually have to drink, though.)
Post a comment if you’re interested — OSBridge ends June 19, so I’m thinking sometime the week after that? Maybe Tuesday June 23rd?
We’re going to need a venue for this so if you’ve got an office or an abandoned warehouse or your parents’ basement or whatever, please let us know.

ah, thought this was on thursday. have to be in mountainveiw tonight. enjoy guys
Crap, just a had a project blow-up…not gonna be able to make it either, bummed. Was really looking forward to sinking my teeth into CodeIgniter. Enjoy the session.
6P: it’s on. 833 Market Street, Suite 301. 3rd floor. Put my name or “Exygy” down on the sign in sheet at the front door, come on up. Can’t miss us, second door on your left. If you come by bike you’re welcome to bring it upstairs.
Will 6pm work for everybody? If that works for you, Zach, then we’re on.
Zach’s office is on Market Street in SF near Powell Street BART.
If it’s tomorrow, please host the class after work hours if possible. Like 4 or 5pm. Also where is Zach’s office? Thanks.
What time is this going to be on Tues? Might want to get that settled soon…
Thanks for organizing!
Jeff: totally cool to have it at my office. There’s no projector but we can use one of the big-ish screens like we did for the Photoshop class. Let us know if it’s on — I think I scheduled the second Photoshop class #2 tomorrow as well, but I can postpone that to later for sure!
Be well,

Xiao, my understanding is that coworking sites like Citizen Space and Hat Factory charge $$$ for stuff like this? I can’t really pay for something like this but if someone else is willing to look into this and line up donations if there’s a cost, that would be great. (This would have to happen ASAP since this class is scheduled for tomorrow — if we need to reschedule, that’s fine, but the soonest I’d be able to give this would be mid-July.)
Due to the nature of the subject matter I definitely recommend that where ever it is should have a screen projector. I’ve been to the CitizenSpace and it’s pretty nice. There are other co-working space in SF. Has anyone ever gone to the Hatfactory?
Doods,
We still don’t have a venue for this. Zach, would you be willing to host at your office?
I noticed one of the other classes was at Citizen Space, co-working space that seems to be flexible/free (for individual drop-ins)/cheap for certain uses.
