Rapid Language Learning
My interest in learning languages quickly stems from my belief that traveling is best experienced when one can talk to locals, ask them questions, and share a beer.
This class will focus on how to identify the structures of a language, how to approach studying a language, and address the fastest way to begin speaking in another language.
I am really interested in learning other people’s techniques for learning languages as well. Please bring some good stories, I will provide some beer and wine and get the talk going.

Teacher's Notes
I run a small company, 30 WORDS, with my sister that makes language guides for travelers.

Woah! Amazing – I love to see how this class has filled up. I owe you all a great class.
So – my vision for this class has changed a bit. I have been learning a lot about languages world-wide of late – both common and unique languages. I would love to offer a class that taught people what to focus on when starting to speak a new language, and also illuminate some great facts on languages worldwide (how many there are, how they are used, language origins, etc.)
Would that interest people still? I am going to get this class going in February – or else I am toast!
Please give me feedback on the current cirriculum. Does it sound interesting???
Cheers,
Andrew

any chance we can do it before next Thursday? I’m flying out to Costa Rica then and would love to dial in my language skills!

Your language teacher must be slacking – I have still not pulled this class together. I am going to have to postpone it until I get some real time to devote to putting together a comprehensive class. I will post a new date soon!Andrew
Hey hey,
I am going to be traveling on the 25th. I have started a bit of a language-road trip – I am traveling the coast teaching languages to people and learning from them as well. I will get this class going as soon as I am back – I should be fully ready to teach a great class by then!Cheers, sorry for the delay!

That sounds like a great idea. I am starting a new language and reviewing one, so this info would be really helpful!
